"Amazing work!"

About: Royal Brompton Hospital

Our baby was rushed here at just hours old. He underwent three procedures on his heart and stayed in the hospital for four weeks. Throughout, what was the worst period of our lives, the staff where incredible. We couldn't have asked for better care. The PICU nurses are simply incredible, they not only give specialist care to very sick babies but look after the parents to! Could not fault the hospital and everything they did for our family.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post about your family’s care at Royal Brompton Hospital. Our specialist nurses are highly skilled in caring for children with serious heart and lung conditions. They understand how frightening it can be for parents when their child needs emergency hospital treatment. The paediatric intensive care unit and children’s ward staff work hard to ensure families are helped to feel as comfortable as possible while they are in hospital. It is therefore fantastic to hear you had such a positive experience and the nursing staff will be delighted to read your excellent feedback.
