"G.P. centre, lack of basic manners"

About: NHS England London

(as the patient),

I went to my doctors at 146 Twickenham Road practice Isleworth to pick up a prescription. I stood at reception while someone was behind the desk. This person did not look at me, picked up the phone and said "Can I help you?", then again said "Can I help you?". There was silence and then I said "Are you talking to me? ". The receptionist replied "yes". I explained I was there to pick up a prescription and said my name. They got my prescription and handed it over to me and I said "Thank you".

Not once did they look at me and it just seemed so rude.

This on its own may not seem a big thing but it happens on a regular basis. The receptionists seem not to care, they sit in the back office and just leave you waiting and scream out your business, so everyone can hear it.

This has not just happened to me but I see it on a regular basis, the receptionists at this practice have got worse over the years and are so rude and do not appear to have any people skills.
