About: Ottery St Mary Hospital / Minor injury unit Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I needed a dressing change after a DIY accident. I was seen very quickly at Ottery St Mary MIU. The nurse was very professional, concerned and gentle so as to avoid any pain when doing the dressing change.

She said it was odd that RD&E hadn't been in touch about a follow up appointment. On her advice I called RD&E and I discovered that they had made me an appointment for that afternoon - just not told me!
