"He loved going there"

About: Birmingham Hospice – Erdington Heartlands Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

Before my dad passed away his last request was to be taken from Heartlands Hospital to live his remaining days in to the John Taylor Hospice where he spent at least one day a week after undergoing treatment for lung cancer.

He loved going there, always had a smile on his face said the staff were great. I have a lot of respect for the whole team working in the john taylor hospice & I would like to say from me & my family a big thank you for making my dad so comfortable for those last few days.

I'm so glad your dad got so much out of spending time here at John Taylor Hospice, and that we were able to support him at this time. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
