After presenting at the Drop In Centre and being examined there, my wife was sent to A&E and was seen quickly. She was then sent to Ward 21, had her appendix out and then was transferred to Ward 31. After a couple of nights there, my wife was well enough to come home.
The advice and attitude of the staff was good. We felt safe, valued and in good hands.
However the system could be improved.
