"Delivery suite was excellent, food not so"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I was a patient at QMC in the delivery suite in January this year.

The care within the delivery suite was excellent and I was fully consulted on every aspect of my care. Once taken up to the ward, I was told where everything was and left to rest. The midwives were attentive and there for me when required.

The ward was generally clean, although the toilets left a little to be desired. My only complaint would be the food. Not very appetising at all. Having been admitted early in my pregnancy for severe sickness, the food did not help! It reminded me of school dinners - although actually even they were better. Food needs to be cooked on site and be more appetising especially for sick people!
