"Specialist treatment referral"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

After a broken scaphoid I was assessed and referred to the hospital's hand specialist to assess if I an operation would help it heal quicker. The specialist appointment never arrived because the specialist is on his annual leave. Unlike the specialist I cannot afford to have five weeks annual leave each year because I'm self employed. But I'd like to point out a) perhaps I could have been referred to someone or somewhere else b) I don't quite believe he/she has that much leave annually but would have preferred some honesty alongside my best possible healing procedure Extremely disappointing and terribly damaging for my family.
