Received excellent care from the obs/gyn consultantand his team both at Wycombe and SM. The pre op nurse was good with any questions I had. On the day of the op I was very frightened and emotional but my consultant, the anaesthetist and ODP team put me at ease. After op in the recovery room the ODP member assigned to look after me was fantastic talking to me and so were the other ODP team members. Once on the ward 16B was looked after by HCA’s and Nurses. two particular HCA's supported me both physically and mentally through what was a really hard time for me during my stay. My consultant and the Anaesthetists Department were also very helpful in replying to my letters regarding questions about the experience I had relating to the drugs I had been given and helped me to understand things clearly Previous to my above experience I had also had day surgery in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department and again had excellent care from my consultant and his team. I have now moved from the area but was treated by caring and dedicated professionals and wish them all well for the future.
