"Pericardectomy - job done"

I'm not going to lie; I was terrified! Cardiac surgery is a big deal. But the staff were fantastic, the consultant did a world class job and the facilities, expertise and care were, in my opinion, unbeatable. The level of care and commitment in their Intensive Care Unit was particularly noteworthy. I didn't score 5 stars on every aspect because a doctor at the weekend, who was not part of my surgical team, tried to discharge me prematurely. But this was overruled and returned to my original plan.
