"disgusted"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I was rushed into a&e after collapsing and was in absolute pain with my tummy. I have had a baby before so I know what pain is. I come in by ambulance, was placed in the hallway for three hours, whilst I was overhearing the nurses mocking another patient for being smelly and was doing rock paper scissors as to who is going to deal with him which I feel was unacceptable in front of the other patients. I then got placed into a side room where I overheard nurses discussing me and one young nurse stated very mockingly and sarcastic "oh I have a tummy ache too, can I jump in a bed' then when the lovely doctor saw me I felt more at ease he requested blood tests the nurse doing the blood test was horrible. When the blood test results come back it turned out I was pregnant so they sent me for an urgent scan - the same nurses wheeled me to the scan and waited for me. Turned out I was miscarried at 19 weeks and I didn't realise I was pregnant. I was took to branston ward where the nurses were fantastic. As I heard the a&e nurses passing my notes over I overheard one saying that I was silly for not realising I was pregnant where the nurse at the branston ward told her she was out of order for what she said! It was a terrible experience getting rushed into Lincoln a&e the nurses were awful! I was so glad to have got to a ward with nurses who were sympathetic! I understand a&es do get busy and there are alot of people who do waste your time, but every patient needs sympathy and care. I don't feel this is offered at Lincoln a&e whatsoever!
