"Hip replacement has changed my life"

I was born with a deformity in both my feet which over the years resulted in heavy wear on my hip. After speaking with a friend who had had hip resurfacing, I contacted my doctor to discuss if I too would be able to have this procedure. I am only 58 years old and thought a replacement would be at least seven years away. No sooner said than done I went to see a consultant and tests were taken, x-rays done and the 18th September I had a replacement. Everyone concerned was excellent. I have a whole new life, no pain, no limping and my husband and family now see a new relaxed happy me. Many thanks!
