What could be improved
There was no parking in the hospital car park and only limited parking elsewhere. When I arrived there was a 45min wait. In any stochastic system if the process time is greater than the service time waiting rises exponenctially, it did here. It was 70 min later I was seen. This was difficult for all patients and staff, who were overstretched. My car parking was overdue and a lot of the time of every other patient was wasted, causing a variety of problems.
What are the hospital performance indicators on patient waits?
