"Willoughby Ward - colon surgery"

About: Warwick Hospital

My mum Barbara went into A&E first then when a blockage of her bowel was discovered move to Willoughby ward. They diagnosed a slow growing cancer which a stent was fitted through then later she returned to have the operation to remove it. . She hadn't been into hospital before and at 85yrs was obviously nervous. The staff in all department but particularly Willoughby ward were Kind, Considerate and Caring at all times. They treated her as an individual, always explained the procedure in easy terms, were patient and attentive to her needs. We cannot praise all the staff enough, there cheery faces and kindness made it all easy and pleasant for Mum. Thank you all. Regards Jane

Thank you very much for your kind comments, I will ensure they are passed on to the teams involved with your mother's care.
