Bad experience! I do not recommend the gastrointestinal department at Hammersmith Hospital. Furthermore, if anything comes up during colonoscopy or gastroscopy you will be sent back to your GP since they do not perform polyp removal - or any other surgery. You will be sent back to your GP for a new referral starting again elsewhere where they can perform their job from beginning to end. What a waste of patient time and NHS money!
