I went to children's A&E when I fractured my wrist. My father and I did not have to wait at all very long until we were seen and I immediately got an x-ray. I was given a cast and all of the staff were extremely nice and pleasant to me. Overall it took less than an hour. After two weeks we were told we must visit again and my cast was replaced. The cue was longer this time but it went quickly and in around one hour and ten minutes I had met with the consultant, had my old cast removed (which I got to keep) and given a new one! The final visit after having my cast on for six weeks for very good! I had it removed and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, a special saw was used to cut off my cast which would only cut my cast and not my skin, which was demonstrated by the staff member when he put the saw directly on his skin and nothing happened as evidence to me. Overall I was exceptionally pleased with the service from the NHS staff, all of them were very kind and extremely helpful. The hospital was clean and easy to navigate through. The waiting time was not at all a problem and very quick. Thank you very much to everyone who helped!
