"Visit by ambulance to A&E Friday 22nd September..."

About: Stafford Hospital

I felt faint in a class in the morning and an ambulance was called. This was the second time in 10 weeks, so they again took me to Stafford's A&E for check-ups. The nursing staff were friendly, helpful, treated me with kindness and courtesy, explained what tests would be done (ECG, chest Xray, bloods/urine) and why. Pleasant young Doctor gave me a thorough examination, discussed the problem with me and answered my questions sensibly and to my satisfaction. They even fed me! I was released after 2 hours, and felt the whole experience was positive and plessant and I felt reassured that all test result were normal and the causes of the incidents were due to (1) heat exhaustion and (2) over-exertion. Despite all the negative reports of Stafford Hospital recently, I have no hesitation in recommending it - especially A&E - to anyone else.

Dear Ms Stanford-Moss

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this lovely feedback which I have shared with our A&E team. Really pleased to hear that your test results were normal.

Kind Regards
