About: Southend Hospital

I cannot praise this part of the hospital highly enough. We have been up to Neptune ward three times within the past 2 months since the birth of our son. Each time the treatment and service had been outstanding. As a nation we are very quick to judge and point out the misdemeanours of other people and services but, we are incredibly lucky to have this service in Southend. The professionalism and attitude of all doctors encountered in our time there has been excellent and we have always left the ward feeling confident and reassured. The nhs often gets a bad rep, but I would not want my child to be treated anywhere else. Thank you to all staff who make this ward the high quality environment it is. Hats off to you all, we are lucky to have you in Southend.
