I was luckily only kept waiting for 50 minutes past my appointment time to see a Dr not my named consultant but a Dr nevertheless.I had my blood pressure checked, urine tested to do the urine test( why when communitymidwived used to do this) the Dr had to leave the room that was another 5-10 minutes gone to be told there was trace of blood and protein im it so it had to go to the lab for more tests, results of which would be communicated via my gp. I then got a brief chat with the Dr about a gtt test and a prescription for asprin(which I now need to give to my gp to be written) .I was then asked to wait in another waiting area.I think my total face to face time with a Dr lasted 20 minutes maximum and yet I'd spent over two hours in the clinic. This is my 3rd baby and second at the manor my last experience was 8 years ago and was fantastic,it seems a muti million pound spend and upgrade has deteriorated things not improved them.
