About: Friarage Hospital Site

I had a truly fantastic experience at the friarage hospital. With a difficult labour and complications that followed the midwives have a level of care that is second to none. The attention to our needs and physical and mental support was incredible, and the information when baby arrived, support with bathing, changing and breast feeding was brilliant. I would recommend this department to everyone, a real home from home experience.

It is always pleasing to receive words of thanks and I very much appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. It may interest you to know the trust runs a ‘Thank You Award’ scheme where NHS colleagues, patients and relatives can nominate staff in recognition of their work. These are presented throughout the year for acts above the call of duty or where staff have shown exceptional kindness towards patients and their relatives.
