I was sent up to a+e by my gp with suspected appendicitis. Seen quickly by triage and transferred to the surgical assessment unit. The nurses and doctors were second to none, very helpful and caring. I got pain relief quickly and was taken to theatre that night. I returned to orrell ward and was very well looked after. Everyone from the consultant to the cleaners were helpful and hardworking. Very happy with the service, it was nice to go to the assessment unit rather than wait in the noisy a+e to be seen. Orrell ward should be proud of their staff
"Orrell ward fantastic"
