"My matron keeps me well"

About: Central Lancashire PCT / Community nursing

(as the patient),

I receive community matron care. She comes regularly to my home. Whenever I have a problem, I call the matron and she comes to see me straight away. This means that I do not have to go to the doctors. My matron keeps me well and stops me from having to go out when I'm not well. I would normally have to get a taxi to the doctors. I find the matron very friendly, helpful and I receive great care from her. Overall it is an excellent service.

When we receive feedback from patients that the service they are receiving is 'excellent', I feel it is always important to make sure that the service concerned gets to know about the compliment. I will pass this on to the Community Matron Service. Over and above this, your comments can help to ensure that the service can continue to provide support to patients.
