Admitted here for the first time for treatment and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the areas I saw. The reception area is light and staff at the reception desk were very welcoming, and having a coffee shop that sells good coffee and some lovely food was a bonus! Now to rheumatology day ward, bearing in mind I have had RA for many years, I have never met any of the three staff on today ....18/8/14 ... they made me feel immediately welcome like they had met me lots of times before. As a nurse myself with time on my hands whilst having the treatment I observed how clean everywhere was - hands always washed before and after treating a patient, they were professional, friendly and made everyone feel reassured. Full explanations were given before all treatments - it was a home from home experience. I could not fault one moment of my experience. Massive well done to this day ward, totally professional throughout.
