I was on the Camel trail in Cornwall in early June when I fell off a tandem and injured my arm. Someone called for an ambulance, the service I received was excellent – they were really really good.
Ian and his colleague put me at my ease, gave me pain relief and made me as comfortable as they could as they took me to the Truro hospital. The two ambulance men even came to see me whilst I was in Casualty to check that I was OK.
At the hospital they found I had dislocated and fractured my arm – I was very impressed by the whole event.
