"Paramedics were wonderful"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

My husband was taken ill whilst we were on holiday in Gloucestershire – he could not walk. I called 999 - the paramedics who attended to him were wonderful. Karen Clark and Geoff Wood were very professional and caring and took him to Cheltenham Hospital where he was treated with painkillers for a disc problem.

The paramedics even came to see how he was whilst we were in A&E and they were bringing in another patient!

Dear Visitor31

Thank you taking the time to share your experience. I hope your husband is feeling much better now.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I shall pass your kind comments on to Karen and Geoff who I am sure will really appreciate your feedback.

Kind regards

Laura
