I read a review stating that it was a depressing environment in Trinity 2, so I felt I should also write a review. It is depressing if you're visiting family or friends, it's tough to watch all those poorly people, there are service users who have tried to hurt themselves and people who don't know what they're doing, of course it will be depressing if you have never been exposed to this before, the ward has poorly people who are very ill and the NHS is under staffed and underfunded. Unfortunately we as service users have to appreciate what we have got and look towards getting better. I believe there are the right staff on the ward sometimes and this can bring a lively atmosphere with them, which helps people recover, but please remember this is not Bupa and there aren't enough hours in the day for these nurses. The majority try their best, some don't but they are few and far between. I personally would like to take the opportunity to thank all the nurses, I can't think of a single one I wouldn't thank! even the ones I don't particularly like. These people are doing a job that needs to be done and if you have a problem with the way things are done and feel you could do a better job then why don't you?? No use being a keyboard warrior and writing poor reviews, most of the people I know have had bad experiences in hospital but they get better eventually and that is all that matters!
