"Accident and emergency dept"

My husband attended the a and e dept on Friday 16th August with a knee problem. We waited only a short while to be seen and I feel I must compliment all the staff that we came into contact with. The hca who took his observations was very courteous and professional. We were even given a lovely tray of coffee and biscuits which was a bonus. The doctor was very polite and explained very clearly what the problem was. We felt very involved in the decisions that were made. Having worked in the NHS for over 40years before retiring I must compliment hexham hospital on the excellent care delivered that day. Well done.
