"Clinic time-keeping"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I had an appointment for finger operation follow-up at 9.05 a.m. One consultant eventually turned up at 09.50 a.m.! If people in the commercial world were this late for work, they would be hauled over the coals. The nurse thought the doctors were still on the wards - if this is the case, then why on earth are clinics booked to start at 9 a.m. Yes, we all know we always have to sit and wait for ages at hospitals but when the doctors are not even there on time it beggars belief! Bad case of very poor time management , Stoke Mandeville!
