"Patient experience endoscopy unit Friday 15/8/14"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

I was sent to the Endoscopy unit after seeing a doctor at Bolton 1. I arrived at 2.30 and the a lovely member of staff explained that they were running a bit late due to equipment shortage. I was offered to return Wednesday for the test but I explain I would wait to have it done Friday. Everyone was very kind friendly keeping me updated on what the delay was. I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness care and friendly ness while I was on the unit I was anxious about having the test. But it wasn't to bad at all. Can't really remember much. So I thought I'd take the time to say big thanks to you all. How we are blessed to have the nhs in this country the staff worked very hard with a happy friendly smiley environment putting us all at ease. Thank you all so much Barbara Julie Larkin.

Dear Ms Larkin, sometimes we need to remind ourselves to be proud of the NHS and its staff, so it was really lovely to read your kind comments. Our staff will greatly appreciate them and other patients will be reassured. Thank you for taking the time to post this.
