I was under a surgeon for 17 years, then when something happened b4 and after my operation he discarded me like I was nothing. I had 3 hip replacements and 1 hip revision. The last time, they didn't seem to know what they were doing. I was screaming as the doctors put a tube down my neck and a needle in my spine. I was supposed to be asleep when they did it. I ended up in intensive care for 5 days at wigan hospital, as there was no resus team at the weekend.
After leaving intensive care, they moved me to a gynae ward. They didn't know what to do with me. I had to show them how to lift me. Then the next day, I had to phone Wrightington and pretend I was someone else and got through to my ward so they would send an ambulance as they had declined all day.
Since then I have had no apology. I got thrown off the list and now have PTSD and have tried to commit suicide twice. I am terrified of hospitals now, so what happens to me when my hip needs doing again?
I hope they are proud of the suffering they have caused. A family ripped apart by my fears. 3 years and I've never slept a night through because of nightmares and am under the mental health now. I feel they should be ashamed.
