"Very helpful pain nurse at Musgrove Park"

I have had the misfortune to be a patient on far too many occasions over the past few years.

One of the most difficult problems that I have had to come to terms with is my ongoing pain.

Recently I was an in-patient at Taunton’s Musgrove Park Hospital (for a condition totally unrelated to my pain).

Whilst in the ward, however, I was fortunate enough to be visited by the Hospital’s ‘Pain Nurse’.

Despite clearly being in great demand (his bleep was very active!) he took time to listen, and was probably the most helpful individual that I have encountered in all my many visits to hospital. I find myself much happier, and much better informed about my medication, and the aims of my pain management.
