"I have been forgotten at 39 weeks and breached..."

I went for a growth scan at 38 weeks where I was told the baby was breeched. I was forwarded to the midwives assessment unit to be given the options of delivery in such case. Waited for about an hour which was ok since I didn't have an appointment I suppose. However, after seeing someone and deciding for a c-section due to the risks imposed by the other options, I was told to go back to the waiting room where someone was going to come and talk to me about the next steps... there I remained for another 2 hours. It was ok while the waiting roon was relatively full and all seemed busy. It only got me thinking once I was aline in there and there were a bunch of midwives +the consultant that had seen me behind the reception desk chatting away. By then my partner approached the consultant who had seen me and asked if we needed being there at all? She then replied by asking if our scan resulr with notes had been handed back yet.. which the hadn't. Cutting short, they all started to look around just as though as they were looking for my paper. One senior midwife said rudely that she was working the fastest she could and we should understand and wait. 10 minutes after this, my scan result was presented back eith a note scribed at the bottom simply saying that I was given my options, had my decision made to have a c-section and that my name was in the email list (whatever that means). The note went on to say that I could be called over last minute for a c-section as not always was possible to produce a specific date. It ended by asking myself to call in the next day and have my assessment appointment booked since they were unable to at that instance since it eas late and everyone had left... so, I left knowing no much more than I knew 3 hours prior: my baby was breeched and I d have a c-section booked for the following week. The next morning, I called in to book the assessment appointment as indicated in the note. The midwife who picked up the call said she remembered me from the eve before and that I should not call and just wait for someone to get hold of me since it was not possible to be assessed without a c-section date. I.e. she asked me to do something different from what had been said the eve before. I was confused and left my mobile as requested and sat snd waited for the following two days. Today I tried calling in again since yesterday I haf three hours of contractions at home. I had to give up after 53minutes waiting on a call queue. I am very scared I ll go into labour without having things sorted for the c-section. It s very frustrating how unprofessional and uncaring the midwives appeared. When we are at our most vulnerable, all that is expected is to be treated with a minimum of attention and care. We are nothing, our babies are nothing, our fears abd pains and concerns are all unfounded. It is disheartening how uncaring people working on the care system can be. Very disappointed and praying for baby to wait longer : (
