I went for an X-ray today at Macclesfield Hospital.

The staff on reception were really helpful and there was an induction loop at the reception. The girl who did my X-ray was really friendly and nice and put me at ease. The privacy was really good, there were changing cubicles and this area of the department was screened off as well. The staff told me when I could expect my results to be back at my GPs.

Thank you for writing in with your feedback. We are really pleased that you had such a positive experience visiting our X-ray department.

The Trust is committed to providing equal access to services for all patients, and we have recently had a big push on checking that all our induction loops are working. It is encouraging to read that you found the induction loop helpful.

Privacy is also a top priority at the Trust, and we are glad that you felt that the changing areas gave you enough privacy when getting changed.

We have also carried out service improvement work to reduce waiting times for X-ray results. We have managed to reduce waiting times and are able to know when patients can expect their X-ray results. It is good to see confirmation that patients are being told when they can expect to receive their results.
