About: Leigh Infirmary

After waiting 1 month for an appointment for my son, i had to arrange time off work, pay petrol to get to the appointment and of course parking, 20mins after arrival i was informed that the consultant had called in and they would not be attending. There was no back up plan for a little boy already nervous at the thought of what was going to be happening on this day, and had to be prepared all over again for a second appointment. I am not sure if the new appointment will be convenient for my work to take time off, and they didn't even look into the possibility of us maybe going to another hospital for the appointment.
