I recently suffered a minor stroke I was advised by my doctor to go JPH @A&E with a letter she wrote, I was attended to within 30minutes, by Oliver who carried out various test to accertain if I had a stroke, blood tests, small scan the lot all within a very short space of time,he informed I was going to be admitted to the stroke unit for a few days to monitor me. With this diagnosis from Oliver I said goodbye and taken to the Ward 1 bay 6 for the specialcare unit were I was greeted by two wonderful young ladies who settled me into the ward and informed what was going to take place over the next phase, at 7 oclock they handed over to another pair of staff .then followed for the rest of my stay by another member of staff, the care I had was fantastic ,nothing too much trouble After my 72hrs in this ward I was moved to the main ward were another member of staff took over for my last day there Sheela & all the staff were so nice and caring they all make you feel so safe in their care, Also I found the food and the staff serving the food also very good. I cannot praise the JPH enough very well Done everybody.
