"Got a suitable appointment at the time and place I requested"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I received a call on my home phone answer phone. I contacted the number given and spoke to a very pleasant lady and when I told her the days I did not work she was able to book me a suitable appointment at the time and place I requested. Lovely lady, pleasant experience, very happy. Only criticism is that I would have liked the appointment sooner, as I have over 5 weeks to wait.

Thank you for your feedback which is much appreciated.

TRAQS take Customer Service very seriously and I am pleased to hear that you found the Patient Advisor who dealt with your call pleasant and helpful.

TRAQS always offer patient's the first avaialble appointment and are able to look at options further away if the patient is able to travel to all appointments and receive treatment at a hospital further away. However, If the patient wishes to be seen locally we can only offer the appointment dates/times we are given by the hospitals.

I appreciate that 5 weeks can seem a long time to wait but in our experience that is quite a short wait for an appointment.
