"ENT's New computer appointment system caused my..."

About: Heartlands Hospital

The staff at the Micro suction area are wonderful. But are seriously let down by the new appointment system! I have been attending this hospital every 5 weeks for 7 years and am now furious that I constantly have to ring and chase and persist to get them to give me an appointment as their new system deals in four weeks. I complained 3 times to PALS to no avail. My most recent appointment I had to call 3 times including PALS and explained Id be very ill if I didn't get the microsuction as I have immune deficiency. After much persistence on my part I got an appointment but it was too late, I had an infection because Id waited well over 5 weeks infact it was nearly 8! If considering the hospital the staff are wonderful, but seriously let down by the new computer system. So consider how often you need treatment, as I wouldn't like you to suffer as I have had to and still do!
