"Poor communication in Queens Medical Eye Out Patient"

Some of the staff at the opthalmic unit at QMC need some training in customer care. I was one of four patients arrived early for a 2.00pm check-up, but when at 3.00pm I had still not been seen, they dealt with me very badly. My name had been crossed off the list for no apparent reason. They would not speak with me unless I was in a certain waiting area - I had been there for 75 minutes - and I was berated for deigning to look at their appointments list which was on display.

I made a complaint to the PALS office but no-one has been in touch with me for 8 days so far.

I missed my appointment - I couldn't wait any longer - and my wife and I wasted three hours in a day.

I have not yet had the check -up following the surgery.
