"My mixed experience of Day Care"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

1) Staff lovely, friendly and caring day care ward.

2) To arrive at 7:30 am when people knew I’d be last in in “because of infection possibilities” I didn't go down to surgery until about 12:40 AM. That’s just ridiculous.

3) Didn't know and wasn't informed that I could have visitors staying with me the entire time.

4) Watched beds being cleaned and remade. The whole operation to be applauded- totally different to previous times on the wards where bare minimum cleaning occurred. 4 stars for this.
