"sleep clinic gives me nightmares."

i have had about 10 dealings with the sleep clinic. on every occasion the staff are incredibly patronising and inflexible. ...e.g. Not seeing me when i was 5 minutes late; not replacing my mask when my machine was serviced as "that required a separate appointment", refusing to accept my wives cancellation of an appointment (weeks in advance) whilst I'm overseas, making my wife wait a whole day for a new mask as punishment for not making an appointment (mask was held together by tape but i still preferred not to attend). Never in my 47 years have i ever loathed and institution and and dreaded each potential visit .. not out of fear .. its just depressing and offensive to be patronised. This issue may well not apply to the rest of the hospital, indeed the reception desk were always helpful, but certainly it is prevalent throughout the sleep clinic. I have previously used two other London hospital sleep clinics and they were fine .. i intend to revert to them although the travel is further. I shall be taking up this same issue separately with the hospital management. Dr Matthew B
