"Amazing Midwives"

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital (Harlow)

This is really late, and I'm really sorry about that but better late than never. I had my baby here last year. He was my first one and I was terrified. I'm an A&E sister (not at PAH) myself and I have never been so grateful to the amazing midwives on the labour ward. I really struggled to deleiver my baby and ended up going to theatre. My last midwife was so great I can't fault her she is the kind of woman that I aspire to be like. She even came to see me on the labour ward the day after which was over and above the call of duty. Later my son got admitted through A&E with shortness of breath at 6 weeks again really impressed by the A&E nurse there she was fantastic and came up to the ward to see me twice during the week I was there, you guys are amazing. thank you

Dear Anonymous, To receive a positive comment about the quality of care we provide in Women's Services and A&E is always a pleasure, but to receive the kind of comment you have posted, coming from a fellow health professional is fantastic. I am sharing your comment with as many people as I can find in all of the teams who supported you through your pregnancy and your return through A&E - thank you for making so many people's day!
