"Staff at the Dermatology clinic were extremely helpful, kind and polite"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I went to visit my GP in May 2014 about a small lump on the side of my nose which I noticed in February and was concerned about it.

My GP said I needed to be referred to a dermatologist as it could possibly be a small skin cancer. I was extremely worried by this!

However, when my appointment with dermatologist arrived I was reassured that it may only be a prominent sebaceous gland although a biopsy in about a month is still necessary to confirm this.

Staff at the Dermatology clinic were extremely helpful, kind and polite. They put my mind at ease and could not have been nicer!
