About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Well, couldn't get an appointment at my GP surgery then I had a telephone appointment where he wrote to the service to get me to see a consultant then I had to wait for weeks, far too long, then once I got my app I will have to wait another 6 weeks. Disgusting, been suffering for a long time and then all the waiting just makes the illness even worse.

The lady on the telephone from TRAQS was lovely shame we didn't seem to have enough good GP and consultants and patients have to wait when really that’s not what they want or need when they are ill.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the TRAQS Team.

I am pleased to note that the Patient Advisor from the TRAQS team was lovely as we take Customer Service very seriously at TRAQS.

We are unable to comment on youe experience with your GP practice but I am sure that the Practice Manager will be happy to discuss your concerns in person if you contact them.

Unfortunately TRAQS are only able to offer the appointments which are released by the hospitals and this can change depending upon the demand on the specific speciality. We realise that not everyone is able to travel further to enable them to accept an earlier appointent but as the appointment capacity is managed by the hosptial it is unfortunately outside TRAQS control.
