About: Hereford County Hospital

I was very impressed with the preparation before my operation, the information session, the arrival of equipment, etc. On the day of my operation the staff were reassuring and encouraging .Its routine for them but not for me On the ward, I found the nights uncomfortable but I was looked after sympathetically. All staff were kind friendly, well informed and most supportive, I felt everyone was working together. I am most grateful to you all.I could say more but the only negative comment I have is to say that oral morphine tastes disgusting, especially in the middle of the night when you are not expecting a syringe full! It worked, it made me sick and then i was fine. Thank you all for fixing me.

On behalf of the Wye Valley NHS Trust thank you for your kind comments with reference to your recent operation and stay here at the County Hospital. I will forward your comments on to the Ward so they can share with their staff. Patient Experience Team
