I have tried calling the Pals, patient advice and liaison service but they have been on voice mail for the last few weeks. Can you please ask them to answer their phones. A voice mail and call back is not suitable for everyone. Also I don't like the new disabled parking rules. 1.disabled badge holders should be able to park anywhere not only in disabled bays 2. disabled badge holders should be able to stay longer than 4 hours if they need to like my 6 hour a&e admission 3. generally there is wholly insufficient parking in the royal free and public transport is not appropriate for most patients. Patient transport takes away my independence. 4. queues for the quick bays on the front block disabled drivers getting to their spaces. 5. people smoking cigarettes on the way from the disabled bays in the car park into the main entrance causes me difficulty in breathing but I am scared to tell them off as they may think I am a do-gooder and not genuinely in discomfort 6. the lifts are to slow and there are queues for the lifts, the hospital was not designed well 7. the food in the canteen is a bit to expensive, a sandwich at m&s next door is cheaper
