In the old hospital minor injury was good. you walked in and were seen by a friendly receptionist then waited for up to an hour. Waiting times over an hour were very rare. The new hospital minor injury unit is chaos. Waiting times are 3/4 hours. no info is given to the patient and the receptionists are rude and inpatient. I had to ask the receptionist to lower their voice as one was shouting and everyone else in the room could hear our personal discussion about my illness. Following the receptionist I saw a nurse then a dr. The dr does not speak or understand English well enough to understand the patient and to properly diagnose a condition. Also the place is massive and too much walking for someone of my age (very old). You have a fabulous new built but rubbish service. I tried calling pals but they are always on voice mail ps there is no "walk in centre" category in the drop down below, maybe the nhs has forgotten about the walk in centre?
