"minor injuries"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

'My 2 year old son attended minor injuries following a head injury. He had cracked his forehead open on a raised flowerbed. On attendance we were asked to sit and wait, his head was gushing blood, he was crying and becoming drowsy. The nurse came for 2 other very minor injuries before us and on the next one the gentleman she called actually said 'I think this child should be seen first' to which she replied 'if your'e sure! Very poor service, a child with a head injury should be a priority and I speak with complete knowledge as a qualified nurse in a GP centre. I certainly won,t use WGH minor injuries for my child again
