What I liked

Consultant, registrar and nursing staff very pleasant and helpful when I had my appointment in October 2008 and I was put on list for surgery on my foot. It was explained that prior to my operation I would an injection in my foot which may relieve some of the pain temporarily.I was told it was an 18 week wait for surgery.

What could be improved

I had the injection in January 2009 and was again told that I was near top of list for surgery.

Today I am told that some admin manager has decided that I am to go to the bottom of the list for surgery as it is not permitted to be on the list for surgery at the same time as I was on the list for the injection. It is not right for an administrator to be able to over rule a surgeon and his registrar and this is very clearly a case of pen pushers manipulating waiting list times.
