"Poor customer care at XR department North Middlesex hospital"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

(as the patient),

I had to have an HSG in the X-Ray department. I was absolutely astonished to be asked to get changed into a hospital gown and then sit back in the main waiting area with all the other fully dressed people who were waiting. I can accept that obviously I needed to get changed, but surely it is not necessary to arrange the waiting areas in such a way.

The second issue I have is that the notices in the changing rooms were so appallingly badly written, with felt pen on pieces of card and in such a demeaning tone that anyone would feel at least confused and at best humiliated by the instructions e.g 'when you are told to go take your gown off..' take off all your jewellery (I didn't need to).

I work in a public service and I know that it does not cost money to use language and resources in a way that ensures people feel respected.
