"I have been waiting eight months for my three month check up!"

In July last year I was admitted to Chorley hospital for deep vein thrombosis in my right leg. I didn't want to go into hospital but everything was ok. It was clean and the staff were very nice. I was discharged on the 24th July and was told I would need a follow up appointment. I am still waiting now and it is the middle of January! I am not allowed to go back to work until I am seen by a doctor. This is becoming a problem as I can only put my job on hold for so long. I had an appointment on the 12th of January but it has been cancelled. Now I have to wait till the end of March. I would like a cancellation appointment but they do not do that anymore. I live five minutes away so I could go down anytime. I am worried I will lose my job as I have been waiting eight months for my three month check up!
