we took my daughter into A&E at 2.30am , was prepared for a long wait however within 5 minutes if that was seen, my daughter was bought in with difficulty breathing, the consultant was extremely thorough, and was not happy with her SATS so admitted us up to Ward 21 (Childrens' Ward), a speedy and extremely efficient and courteous porter transferred my daughter to the ward, where the lovely staff on the ward did some tests, my daughter was extremely frightened and i can honestly say, the staff were exceptional. we were then put into a ward where i could get into the same bed as my girl to comfort her.We were constantly monitored through the night and in the morning, breakfast was served and a very welcome cuppa for me. All the staff on ward 21 were fantastic, i was kept up to date with everything that was going on and nothing seemed to much trouble for them. We were discharged later that day with full instruction, all i want to say is Bravo DMH!
